Lacey

Animal Assistant

With a deep-rooted passion for animal care that began in animal rescue, Lacey has found her calling in veterinary medicine. Her journey into this field has been guided by her enthusiasm for helping animals and her hands-on experience as an adoption coordinator at the Prince George Humane Society.

Lacey holds a Fear Free Certification, which enhances her ability to provide compassionate care and a stress-free environment for our patients. Her keen interest lies in radiology and ultrasound, where she enjoys assisting with these procedures and learning more about their applications. Her long-term goal is to further her education by becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), gaining valuable experience and knowledge along the way.

Outside of work, Lacey loves spending time outdoors, enjoying quality moments with friends and family, and indulging in her favourite snacks. She and her wife, Taylor, share a home with four rescue pets: Gunther and Rachel, her cats; and Phoebe and Joey, her dogs. Her animal “F R I E N D S” (see what we did there?) bring joy and companionship to her life, though we’re still waiting for a Chandler, Ross, or Monica to join the crew!

When she’s not at the clinic, you might find her exploring new places or dreaming of backpacking through Europe. Lacey brings a contagious optimism and positivity to our team, enriching the clinic’s atmosphere.
